Bill Summary

This bill would give students utilizing GI Bill benefits more flexibility to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering, math and health fields. It would give students who utilize the Post-9/11 GI Bill the option to apply for an extra nine months of benefits if they pursue a degree in one of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.

The private sector should do this. With all the problems we have seen at different VA hospitals there is no reason to believe that they can help veterans.

Veterans deserve all the help we can give them for their service to the country. We should do all we can for them.
