Bill Summary

This bill raises the age to purchase a semiautomatic rifle from 18 to 21 years old. The bill prohibits the civilian use of large-capacity magazines and establishes new federal offenses for gun trafficking. Also, this bill creates voluntary best practices for safe gun storage and gives dealers a tax incentive of 10% of the sale of safe storage devices.
